A new project that was created internally by our team at Flarmio, Roomismo offers a comprehensive digital solution to address the evolving needs of hotels, regardless of their size or scale. Recognizing the fragmented nature of hotel operations, we focused on developing a centralized platform that simplifies management tasks, enhances guest satisfaction and improves overall efficiency.

Developing a comprehensive platform like Roomismo poses significant challenges, particularly in coordinating the integration of various functionalities across multiple platforms. One of the major hurdles is the complexity of integrating with third-party booking channels, each with its own unique APIs and data formats. This complexity adds time and effort to the integration process, making it both intricate and time-consuming. Real-time synchronization of room availability, rates, and reservations across all connected channels is crucial to prevent overbookings and maintain accurate inventory data. Achieving efficient synchronization mechanisms that can handle large volumes of data in real-time without impacting system performance is technically challenging. Moreover, ensuring robust error handling and recovery procedures is essential to maintain system reliability and data integrity, particularly in handling errors and exceptions that may occur during data transmission or processing. Alongside this, integrating a Property Management System (PMS) adds another layer of complexity.
